Sadie and Sam meet in a hospital gaming room and bond over their shared love of video games. When their worlds collide once more eight years later the spark is immediate and together they start working on what they love - making video games. I adored this novel - a completely unexpected joy for me. Touching on friendship, loss, creativity and so much more. ( P.S. You don’t have to be a gamer to appreciate the brilliance of this book!)
