Festival Booksellers

Latitude Festival and Wilderness Festival 

We are on the search for booksellers to join our festival teams this summer.

The role is for energetic, team players who love books and getting stuck in! The role will involve:

  • Selling books

  • Making recommendations

  • Assisting in the build and breakdown of the festival pop-up bookshop

  • Displaying, restocking and tidying books

  • Assisting with book signings

Essential Requirements:

  • Retail experience

  • Passion for books

  • Excellent customer service

  • Attention to detail

Bonuses:

  • Barista experience

  • Bookselling experience!

 

Dates/Location: 

Latitude Festival: Wednesday 24th July to Monday 29th July
Henham Park, Suffolk

Pay: £11.50 per hour and full accreditation for the festival included.

Transport: Please note, we are not able to arrange full transport to site but can collect booksellers/baristas from nearby Halesworth station (Latitude) or Charlbury train station (Wilderness), if arriving by public transport.

Hours: Variable - booksellers work on average 4-6 hours per day, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the festivals (bar Sunday night pack ups)!

Festival Baristas

We are on the search for baristas to join our festival team at
Latitude Festival and Wilderness Festival this summer.

The role is for energetic, team players who know their coffee! The role will involve:

  • Daily set-up and upkeep of machine

  • Making coffees (from Americanos to lattes, cappuccinos and macchiatos…)
    Incl oat milk + dairy.

  • Maintaining clean working space

  • Cleaning machine down

  • Restocking 

Essential Requirements:

  • Barista experience

  • Excellent customer service

  • Attention to detail

Bonuses:

  • Festival experience/working without plumbing!

  • DIY skills (option to help with bookshop construction)

Latitude Festival: Thursday 25th July to Sunday 28th July

Hours: Changeable depending on how busy we are - baristas tend to average between 20-30 hours over the 4 days.
