Derek Jarman's House - Gilbert NcCarragher

£25.00

Following his death in 1986, net curtains were hung in all the windows of the legendary Prospect Cottage to shield the private world of Derek Jarman from the curious public.

Fast forward to 2018 and photographer @ was invited to record the home of this visionary artist and filmmaker, capturing the undeniable sense that the house was an artwork itself.

Full of beautiful images that showcase the unique objects and aesthetic of the artist, the book is the most gorgeous combination of stunning photography and thoughtful essays on the history of the house and the experience of capturing it through a lens.

A must have for art lovers, film fans, the design driven and the thoughtfully curious.
